Chautauqua County Sheriff Joe Gerace is a police veteran who is actively involved in all law enforcement investigations conducted by his office. He recently apprehended, single-handedly, a murder suspect who was being sought by most of the police agencies in the county. Joe acted on a citizen’s tip, and said that “he was in the right place at the right time”, but those who know Sheriff Gerace understand that he works day and night to make sure that he and the men and women in his office put themselves in the best position to protect the public and respond to emergencies.
