Oneida County Sheriff's Office Receives Re-Accreditation from NYS DCJS

County Executive Anthony Picente Jr. presented Sheriff Robert M. Maciol with the NYS DCJS Accreditation Certificate which is effective from December 6, 2011 thru December 6, 2016.  The Sheriff’s Office was originally accredited in 2006. Sheriff Maciol acknowledged the Accreditation Manager, Sgt. James Paravati, and his assistant Deputy Noel Ames, for their tireless efforts in completing the very stringent re-accreditation process. NYS DCJS recognized the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office re-accreditation on December 6th, 2011 at  their offices in Albany.  The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office is one of only three police agencies in Oneida County that is accredited.
