Sheriff John York Receives NYSAC award.

Yates County Sheriff Ron Spike, Chairman of the NYS Association of Counties' Committee on Public Safety presents Livingston County Sheriff Jack York with a Certificate of Appreciation for Sheriff York's years of service to the NYSAC Public Safety Committee.

At the Annual Fall Meeting of the New York State Association of Counties (NYSAC) Livingston County Sheriff John York was honored for his 10 years of service as chairman of the group's Committee on Public Safety. Sheriff York, who also serves as Chairman of the Executive Committee of the New York State Sheriff's Association, recently relinquished his NYSAC committee chairmanship. In presenting Sheriff York with a Certificate of Appreciation the new chairman, Yates County Sheriff Ron Spike, praised Sheriff York for his years of strong leadership and hard work which helped build the Public Safety Committee into an important and integral part of the Association of Counties.
