
St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Office Detective Sergeant Albert R. Duquette was recently inducted into the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame as an “Outstanding Law Enforcement Mixed Martial Arts Instructor”. Duquette started with the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office in 1995, was promoted to Road Patriol Sergeant in 2007, and in 2008 to his current rank of Detective Sergeant. Detective Sergeant Duquette also serves the Sheriff’s Office as a certified Police Instructor and Defensive Tactics Instructor, along with his day-to-day duties as a Detective Sergeant. The “Gold Belt” on the plaque in the photo is the designation for the Martial Arts Hall of Fame level attained. Duquette has been involved in Law Enforcement since 1990 and with mixed martial arts for 25 years.
