Career: Lee Price has been with the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office since 1968, when he began his career as a Deputy Sheriff. Five years later, he was appointed Sergeant. His rise through the ranks continued in 1979, when he was promoted to the position of Lieutenant. In 1989, Sheriff Duane Whiteman named Price as his Undersheriff. In 1999, Lee Price was elected Sheriff of Cortland County. Price has attended numerous seminars in his long career. The Sheriff believes the members of the Department are what make him a good Sheriff. 


Personal: Sheriff Price has been happily married for 42 years. He has 8 children and 13 grandchildren.
